Lecture: Dejan Mihajlovic

Dejan Mihajlović teaches at the Pestalozzi Realschule in Freiburg and is an author and lecturer at the Baden-Württemberg Center for School Quality and Teacher Training. He is involved in the area of digital transformation and democracy education. He recognizes that students need a space for negotiation in which they can discuss complex social issues that are the subject of public controversy on the basis of their knowledge and experience. This can only succeed if all those involved agree on the following: “We know that we don’t always do everything right, we openly identify problems, look for solutions together, admit mistakes, apologize and work together to make things better for everyone.”
