At the concert “Positively Brass & Percussion” on Sunday, 12.11.2023, at 18.00 in the Great Hall of the Milchwerk, the Brass Quintet and the Percussion Ensemble of the Trossingen University of Music will present a rousing and multi-faceted program. Exciting arrangements from classical music to musicals and film music will ensure a captivating concert experience alongside original literature. The Trossingen brass and percussion classes enjoy an excellent reputation on the scene, and their graduates are engaged in renowned orchestras and ensembles. The event is part of the cooperation “Schaufenster Musikstadt – zwei Musikstädte begegnen sich”.

The concert will be accompanied by a one-day workshop under the direction of Elisabeth Fessler and Professor Jochen Schorer, which is aimed at ambitious adult and young musicians in the region. They will also be actively involved in the concert in the evening. The workshop starts at 09.30 am. Cooperation with Trossingen

Under the title “Schaufenster Musikstadt – zwei Musikstädte begegnen sich”, the Department of Culture of the City of Radolfzell has been cooperating with the Trossingen State University of Music since this year. An important aspect of this collaboration is to give young musicians from both cities a stage so that they can gain valuable practical experience.
