On the occasion of the exhibition in the Radolfzell town museum “Village life – history(ies) from the Radolfzell districts”, district archaeologist Dr. J\u00fcrgen Hald presents the results of the latest archaeological investigation of an Alamannic burial ground in B\u00f6hringen. It will also take a look at the cult site discovered a few years ago in the Markelfingen building area “Im Tal”. The ruins of a Roman estate were already being practiced there during the 6th-8th centuries. n. AD, early Christians practised their religion and deposited small metal crosses in pits, while their neighbors in B\u00f6hringen still buried their dead according to pagan custom.<\/p>\n
