Family day in the city library

The Baden-Württemberg Children’s and Young People’s Literature Days come to an end with a big family day at the Radolfzell City Library.

11.00 a.m. the teachers of the Radolfzell Music School will perform “The Town Musicians of Bremen”. Who doesn’t know the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm in which the old, worn-out donkey escapes and sets off on a journey? On his way to Bremen, he meets the other maltreated creatures, who join him without further ado. For children aged six and over, duration approx. 30 minutes

3.00 – 5.00 p.m. Afternoon of action around the books of Otfried Preußler and international reading aloud
The afternoon of action begins at 3 p.m. with a big treasure hunt through the city library. The colorful program offers many different stations for young and old.

At the reading station, everyone can listen to exciting, funny and entertaining stories in different languages.

The children are read to alternately in German, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Tigrin / Tigrinya and Ukrainian.

Visitors can also look forward to creative craft activities, exciting programming puzzles with mini robots and lots of fun community games.

All games and activities have no language barrier.

The activity is suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 10.

The family day is supported by the Freundeskreis Stadtbibliothek e.V..

Admission is free, registration is not required.
